This hardware based encryption and decryption system operates in real-time, affording sustained transfer rates of over 200 MB/s and is engineered to protect the digital assets of the forensic, healthcare, oil 7 gas, government and entertainment industries. For maximum security, the Ranger requires a physical USB key to further protect the 5- bay, 8 pound portable system. The key must be in place when the system is started in order to access the data.
